The Tree Nursery at Luther Burbank Experiment Farm is currently growing hundreds of rare and heirloom fruit trees. Most are optimized for Sonoma County growing conditions, using frost-resistant root stock, and many were introduced or developed by Luther Burbank during his decades of work at the farm. Most of these trees will become available to be sold, and are brought down to the tree sales area at the Farm entrance when mature enough for planting. Proceeds from the sales are used to continue the unique historic botanic legacy of this unique location in Sonoma County. Below is the current table of maturing trees:
